Austin King Achieves Athletic Honors at The Loomis Chaffee School

The Loomis Chaffee School Athletics Department gathered recently with varsity student athletes, their parents, and coaches, to celebrate the accomplishments of Pelican teams this spring. Director of Athletics Bob Howe and other members of the Athletics Department bestowed honors upon Pelican athletes for their participation and dedication to varsity teams.

Austin King a senior from Kempton, PA was named as the Coaches Award Winner for Boys Track and Field. In addition, he was a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed first at the Founders League Championship Meet, and at the New England Championship Meet.

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9-12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world. Since 1914, the school has offered educational opportunities for boys and girls regardless of religious or political beliefs, national origin, or financial resources.
