Matthew Gomes Receives Athletic Award at Loomis Chaffee School

The Loomis Chaffee Athletics Department gathered recently with varsity student athletes, their parents, coaches, and Head of School Sheila Culbert to celebrate the accomplishments of Pelican teams this fall. Director of Athletics Bob Howe and other members of the Athletics Department bestowed honors upon Pelican athletes for their accomplishments for the 2013 fall season.

Matthew Gomes of Middletown, CT was named Coaches' Award winner for Boys Varsity Soccer.

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9-12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world.
